Privacy Policy

SOS Culture project is committed to honoring the privacy of visitors to our website (the "Website"), www.sosculture.eu. This policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. It governs any information collected from visitors to the Website. Any information collected by SOS Culture through the Website or any other means will only be used by SOS Culture project and will not be sold or distributed to any other agency or entity. Our goal is to protect online information with the same diligence that we protect information obtained through other means.

Information Collection And Use
The Website collects information about each visitor in three ways: (1) through your IP address, which does not contain any personal information, (2) through any e-mail correspondences you send to us, (3) when you submit information using an online input form on one of our web pages.

(1) IP Address
Note: Your IP address does not contain or reveal personal information about you. Information such as your name, address, or phone number cannot be obtained through your IP address alone.

SOS Culture project web servers log all Website visitors' IP addresses to automatically collect information about usage of the Website. This information is collected only to help diagnose problems with our servers, administer our Website, track traffic patterns, and identify ways to make our Website more useful. Information is never used to track or monitor individual users.

Additionally, our Sites employ "cookies".  A cookie is a small file that is put on your computer. This file identifies specific information about your visits to the site. Cookies can only be read, and therefore used, by our web servers. Our cookies do not save or store any personal information as such: they take the form of a unique numerical identifier that enables a computer, but not an individual, to be recognized. Cookies do not detect and cannot access any information you may have on your computer.  We employ "cookies" to perform three functions: to let us know how long you are logged on to our Sites and to automatically log you out if you are inactive for over thirty minutes; to store your user ID and password so that when you return to our website you won't have to re-enter some or all of that information; and to provide us with statistics regarding what pages of our Sites you visited, and how long you spent there.  You may configure your browser to accept all "cookies," reject all "cookies," or notify you when a "cookie" is sent. However, when accessing an area that requires a password for entry, "cookies" are not optional and continued paths through the password area will not continue if cookies are not enabled.

(2) E-mail Correspondences
Unless specifically requested, any e-mail messages you send to SOS Culture, including your e-mail address, are kept private and will not be disclosed to third parties. You will from time to time be provided with or given the opportunity to obtain additional information of interest, updates, surveys, bulletins or other communications from SOS Culture via e-mail only in case you agreed to do so while registering.
