SOS - გადავარჩინოთ კულტურა: სომხეთ-საქართველოს სასაზღვრო რეგიონში მივიწყებული და მიტოვებული კულტურული ძეგლების აღორძინება
შუასაუკუნოვანი მიტოვებული და დანგრეული ეკლესიები, მონასტრები, გამოქვაბულები, საფლავები თუ პრეისტორიული საკულტო ნაგებობანი - ამ ყველაფრის ნახვა უხვად შეიძლება სამხრეთ კავკასიის ტერიტორიაზე. ისინი მოვლასა და ყურადღებას მოითხოვს. „გადავკვეთოთ საზღვრები, რათა შევინარჩუნოთ და მოვუაროთ“ არის სწორედ ის სლოგანი, რომლითაც 2012 წლის იანვრიდან ხელმძღვანელობს და მოქმედებს ევროკავშირის მიერ დაფინანსებული პროექტი SOS - გადავარჩინოთ კულტურა, რომელსაც ბუნებისა და კულტურული ძეგლების დაცვის ფონდი ახორციელებს (FPWC).
პროექტი „SOS - გადავარჩინოთ კულტურა“ ევროკავშირის აღმოსავლეთ პარტნიორობის პროგრამის ფარგლებში ფინანსდება. ბუნებისა და კულტურული ძეგლების დაცვის ფონდთან (FPWC) ერთად მის განხორციელებაში ჩართულია dvv international - სახალხო უნივერსიტეტთა გერმანული ასოციაციის საქართველოს ფილიალი, თბილისის პროექტთა ბიურო და „სომხური არქიტექტურის კვლევის ფონდი“ (RAA.)
პროექტის მიზანია სომხეთისა და საქართველოს განაპირა სასაზღვრო რეგიონებში რისკის ქვეშ მყოფი კულტურული ძეგლების აღრიცხვა და პრეზერვაცია ადგილობრივი სამოქალაქო აქტივობების მოშველიებით. ადგილობრივი საზოგადოების ჩართულობა, თავის მხრივ, ხელს შეუწყობს პროექტის სამოქმედო რეგიონების ეკონომიკურ, სოციალურ და კულტურულ განვითარებას.
პროექტის ძირითადი მიდგომა და იდეა მდგომარეობს იმაში, რომ კარგად შემონახული და შესწავლილი ისტორიული ადგილები დადებით გარემოს შექმნის მდგრადი ეკონომიკური, სოციალური და პიროვნული განვითარებისთვის განაპირა და გაღატაკებულ რეგიონებში, რაც თავის მხრივ, ამ რეგიონებს მიმზიდველს გახდის ტურისტებისთვის.
პროექტის ერთ-ერთი მთავარი პრინციპი სომხეთსა და საქართველოში სამიზნე რეგიონებში მცხოვრები სხვადასხვა ეროვნების 14-25 წლის ახალგაზრდების ჩართვაა. ახალგაზრდები მათ სამეზობლოში ჩატარებულ კვლევით და ძეგლთა დაცვის ღონისძიებებში მიიღებენ მონაწილეობას. სამეცნიერო საქმიანობა მოიცავს სხვადასხვა წარმოშობისა და რელიგიური კუთვნილების კულტურული ძეგლების, ასევე უძველესი და შუა საუკუნეების არქიტექტურული ძეგლების კვლევას. ამით პროექტი ხაზს უსვამს, რომ "კულტურული ძეგლები ყველას საკუთრებაა" - კულტურული ძეგლების მიმდებარე ტერიტორიებზე მცხოვრებმა ადამიანებმა, ეროვნებისგან განურჩევლად პატივი უნდა სცენ და იზრუნონ კულტურულ მემკვიდრეობაზე. ეს ახალგაზრდული კლუბების წევრებს ახლებურ მიდგომასა და ცოდნას ჩაუნერგავს ადგილობრივი კულტურული ძეგლების შესახებ. პროექტში მონაწილეობით ახალგაზრდები თავიანთი რეგიონების კულტურულ და ტურისტულ განვითარებაში შეიტანენ წვლილს. ადგილობრივი კულტურული ძეგლებისა და სხვა მნიშვნელობის მონუმენტების შესახებ ისინი ცოდნას ახალგაზრდულ კლუბებში გაიღრმავებენ, რომლებიც FPWC-მ და მისმა პარტნიორმა ორგანიზაცია საქართველოში - dvv international-მა შექმნეს . ახალგაზრდული კლუბის წევრები თავიანთი ჩართულობით ხელს შეუწყობენ რეგიონების კულტურულ და ტურისტულ განვითარებას.

Alaverdi SOS Culture Youth Club Preserving our cultural heritage and environment
A wonderful event organized by Alaverdi SOS Culture youth club took place in Alaverdi on 8th of November, 2012. The event had a special focus on endangered cultural monuments and wildlife of Armenia. SOS Culture Youth Club Members participated in the Fifth Painting Day and in the Animal Carnival
The members of the SOS Culture Youth Clubs were busy last few weeks. They were preparing for two important events: FPWC’s Fifth Painting Day and Animal Carnival. During the preparations the rooms of the clubs filled with paper, colorful pencils, watercolor and animal masks.
