Trainings by Vanadzor Youth Bank

Vanadzor Youth Bank held trainings for SOS Culture youth clubs, which took place on 20.04.13 in Akhtala, on 22.04.13 in Alaverdi, on 29.04.2013 in Berdavan and on 21.05.2013 in Varagavan.

The SOS Culture project in cooperation with Vanadzor Youth Bank organized trainings on the Project proposal writing, where young people of the local communities could learn about launching their own project.

SOS culture youth club members have found out about the most important objectives of writing a project proposal, what problems can be faced and also how to fix those problems. The trainers, Gor Matevosyan, Tehmina Vardumyan and Angela Kazaryan first presented the theoretical part of the training, where they explained the details of writing a project proposal and shared their own experience.

The presentation was followed by the team work, where young people had been divided into three groups and attempted to write their own project proposals. For example the teams of Varagavan came up with ideas of establishing a pool club, a local community of a “kolkhoz” type, where young people could study and work, and also a project on raising the effectiveness of local agriculture and exporting its products.

Gor Matevosyan noted that despite the young age all the participants of the trainings have been well aware of the local and all-Armenian problems and extremely enthusiastic to solve them.
