Since 1992 RAA uses the means of video to document cultural assets all over Armenia. On their youtube channel, they make this information accessible.

Research on Armenian Architecture (RAA) NGO has been doing its various activities since the late 1960s. In Armenia it was established in 1998. The purpose RAA as an NGO is to investigate and document Armenian architectural monuments located outside the borders of present-day Republic of Armenia, i.e. in Cilicia and Historical Armenia, as well as in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran and the historical Armenian Diaspora. The organization also has the objective of presenting the Armenian society and international community publications on them.

Their priorities are the same everywhere: Armenian historical monuments are to be recorded in maps, photographs and film facts before their total degradation and annihilation from negligence occurs.

Despite the turbulent political situation in Turkey, RAA continues its expeditions to rescue Armenian national treasures before they are levelled to the ground. Since 1975-76 RAA has performed research work in Azerbaijan and Nakhijevan despite anti-Armenian sentiments in these regions. The tragic events in Sumgait proved once again that these activities are priceless in both cultural and political aspects.

Films shot by RAA are very interesting, documental, with deep meaning. They teach us to love and never abandon what is ours: our home, our native land, our dear ones…
