During the training the participants managed to watch four films and some social videos and each was followed by the interactive game-discussion and presentation of different methods, with the help of those the training might be implemented. At At the very end one of the training a teacher from the school of Nor Hachn shared her experience telling us how the lessons are led when working with this meth

Neither the interactive teaching methods nor the presentation of the topic “Documentary films as an interactive teaching method”  were new for the trainers and coordinators of the SOS Culture project, however it was so interesting and informative that they returned home very enthusiastic and eager to use those experiences while working with children.

By the way one of the six main films of the project was the „SOS Sevan“ film shot by the Noradus Ecoclub children of SunChild project implemented by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets, which has won the best prize in the frames of SunChild International Film Festival. This film impressed the participants very much, as it was telling about the problems existing in our country and was shot by our children. It also stimulated the participants to organize documentary film making together with the children of their own schools.

At the end of the training all participants got certificates and all necessary materials required for the conducting similar trainings.

It should be noted that the training was held in the frames of “Let’s talk about Film in South Caucasus” project, which is funded by the European Union and the Czech Development Agency.
