Khuleti, the monument of Georgian architecture, a castle, is located in the narrow neck of deep gorge of the river Khrami (coordinates: 41.274917 44.205494). It was built in the first third of the XVIII c. It consists of 2 parts; there is one tower per each and 5 towers in the wall. Each of them, primarily, was intended for dwelling, and then – for fighting. The north-west tower is a tower-like palace, divided through the full height into two by the wall, where stairs are arranged. One side is 6 storeys and the other is 7 storeys. The last floors are intended for military purposes, the rest – for dwelling. The whole castle is built of local rock stone.
